For Patients
What is AyurAdhar and how does it help patients?
AyurAdhar is a digital platform designed to support long-term Ayurvedic care. It helps patients find the right doctors, understand their treatment better, maintain continuity across visits, and stay engaged with care over time.
Is AyurAdhar just a marketplace for doctor booking?
No. AyurAdhar is not designed as a transaction-first marketplace. It focuses on supporting continuity of care, clear communication, and professional practice, rather than one-off appointment scheduling.
Do I need to buy medicines only from the AyurAdhar platform?
No. AyurAdhar does not require you to purchase medicines through the platform. The option is provided to help patients access quality medicines from trusted sources with clear usage guidance. You are free to purchase medicines from any external pharmacy based on the prescription provided by your doctor.
Can I access my records across different doctors on the platform?
Yes. Your health records are organized so they can support continuity of care over time. When you consult different doctors on the platform, relevant records can be accessed with your consent to provide better context. You can even upload your older records and test reports to help the doctor with a better understanding of your condition.
Do I need to download the app, or can I use WhatsApp or a computer browser? Can my family use the same mobile number?
There is no compulsion to download the app. You can access the AyurAdhar platform through a mobile browser or a computer. The app is recommended as it makes it easier to search for doctors, access medical records, and manage reminders. You can also use WhatsApp for actions such as booking or rescheduling consultations and purchasing medicines. A single mobile number can be used by multiple family members.
Are consultations and treatments available in multiple languages?
Yes. AyurAdhar supports multiple Indian languages. Where possible, content is structured and presented in your preferred language to help improve understanding and participation in care. Please note wherever translated, the doctor's version is the official version in case of any ambiguity.
Does AyurAdhar own or control the doctors on the platform?
No. Doctors on AyurAdhar are independent practitioners. The platform does not employ, own, or control doctors on the platform, and does not influence how they practice.
Are consultation fees and treatment decisions set by the platform?
No. Consultation fees, treatment approaches, and follow-up decisions are determined entirely by the doctor. AyurAdhar does not standardize or dictate clinical or commercial terms.
Does AyurAdhar influence or standardize medical treatment?
No. AyurAdhar does not interfere with diagnosis or treatment decisions. While the platform uses modern technology for orchestration and automation of tasks, clinical judgment and responsibility remain fully with the doctor.
Can I start on one channel and continue on another (for example, WhatsApp and app or browser)?
Yes. AyurAdhar is designed to let you move across channels. You can book a consultation on WhatsApp and later view records, manage reminders, or continue care on the app or browser. Your information stays connected, so you are not locked into a single channel.
For Doctors
How is AyurAdhar different from appointment booking marketplaces like Practo or Lybrate?
AyurAdhar is not a transaction-first marketplace. It is designed to support long-term Ayurvedic care, support doctors in diagnostics, high quality medicines and clearer communication with patients, rather than focusing on one-off consultations.
Does AyurAdhar interfere with diagnosis, treatment, or clinical decision-making?
No. While the platform uses modern technology for orchestration and automation of tasks, clinical judgment and responsibility remain fully with the doctor.
Will my consultation fees or practice terms be controlled by the platform?
No. Consultation fees, treatment approaches, follow-up practices, and engagement terms are fully determined by you. AyurAdhar does not set prices or impose commercial conditions.
What do I need to invest to get started on the platform? Do I need to understand AI or technology?
There is no financial investment required to get started. You also do not need to understand AI or advanced technology. The platform has been used to work on low-end mobile phones and WhatsApp and helps support your practice without requiring technical expertise. Also support is available to help resolve any concerns you might have.
Will using AyurAdhar create additional work for me? I already have a busy practice.
No. AyurAdhar is designed to streamline coordination, record-keeping, and follow-ups, allowing you to focus more on clinical care. As an example, AI can automatically summarize older medical reports and extract information from documents. It helps translate your diagnosis and prescription into detailed language in the patients preferred language. You decide how much of the platform you use and at what pace.
How does AyurAdhar handle ratings and patient feedback?
AyurAdhar does not publicly rank or score doctors. Patient feedback, where collected, is shared privately and in an anonymized manner to help doctors understand patient experience and improve satisfaction over time. The current approach is to keep feedback non-public and supportive, rather than promotional or comparative.
What kind of patient data is captured, and who controls it?
Clinical information is captured to support continuity of care. Doctors retain professional control over how clinical records are created, and patient consent governs access and sharing. Detailed practices are described in the Data Privacy section.
Is patient data ever sold or shared for commercial purposes?
No. Patient data is not sold or shared for marketing or commercial use, without explicit patient consent. Your patient remains your patient, and the platform doesn't aim to pitch other doctors. Any use of data for learning or research is designed to be ethical, anonymized, and consent-driven.
Does AyurAdhar use AI, and how does it affect my practice?
AyurAdhar uses technology, including AI-assisted tools, to support organization, analysis, and continuity of care. These tools are optional and assistive, and they do not replace or override clinical judgment. More details are shared in the technical overview section.
How can I get started, and what support is available if I need help?
You can join the platform through a short onboarding process that typically takes a few minutes. If you prefer assistance, the AyurAdhar team can support onboarding and ongoing use through familiar channels such as WhatsApp.
